December, 2010 Meeting Minutes

Greg opened the Meeting

Minutes were read and approved

Treasurer report was read by Andy and approved

Football report (given by Greg)

      In process of pricing new uniforms and exploring options of having families purchasing jerseys and 
	reducing registration fees

      Last equipment turn in date will be December 19 from noon to 1pm

Cheerleading Report (given by Renee)

      Most Cheer Coaches are in Place for next year.  The 10 year olds are in need of a good coach, they 
	had a rough season and will need a great coach.

Basketball Report (given by Mike Gailey)

      483 registered-up from last year; 100 for K-1. Only 4 older teams and 2 athletic teams.

      Finishing uniforms.  70 kids still owe fees and 23 are needing a refund. 18 kids applied for 
	financial assistance.

      Some gym issues are being worked out.

      In process of ordering coaches shirts.

      Nick Bryant asked if going forward next year, could wrestling and basketball work together to work 
	schedules out so kids could do both sports.

Wrestling Report(given by Tanya)

      277 wrestlers competed in the Amelia Tournament

Public Relations Report (Given by Yvonne)

      Basketball photos are scheduled for January 22 and 29 with Beach photography

      Yvonne thanked Renee, the Earley’s and the Snider’s for going the CCYFL dance

      She also thanked Joey for keeping the website up-to-date
